Tom Corey is the person behind the camera on Shepherd’s communications platforms, including the Breaking the Cycle of Poverty podcast, Facebook Live sessions, and Uplift Indy.  We asked Tom, who serves as Shepherd’s video coordinator, to share 10 of his favorite photos that he’s taken at Shepherd over the years.

Why Tom chose this photo: This image was created in Shepherd’s after-school program during Photography Club. Photography Club met once a week with middle and high school students from nearby schools. This image was taken with a simple key light in front of the subject and helped to spark new found interest in the art of photography when it was shared with the rest of the class.
