Executive Director Jay Height interviews long time friend John Lechleiter, talking about the chapters of leadership and how to keep to a long-term vision when the focus is being pulled in many other directions.

Dr. John Lechleiter, the former president and CEO of Eli Lilly and Company, steered the company through significant change and economic adversity during his eight-year tenure. Alongside his corporate leadership, he actively engages in various community and healthcare initiatives, co-chairing the Indiana Mental Health Roundtable and contributing to numerous advisory councils and boards, including those of Marian University, IUPUI School of Science, and the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.

Recognized for his service, Dr. Lechleiter, alongside his wife Sarah, received the Charles L. Whistler Award in 2016 for their commitment to the Indianapolis community.

– Dr. John Lechleiter,
